C-TPAT certified
As of January 2012, PIP has been certified to C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism), meaning its entire supply chain, from factory to the warehouse shipping docks, has been certified to the Customs’ security threshold. C-TPAT is a voluntary government-business initiative to build cooperative relationships that strengthen and improve overall international supply chain and U.S. border security. PIP's SVI number is 87ae48d8-9734-429e-8352-cd8f37e9b678. Learn more about C-TPAT here.
Vision
To be the leader at providing the highest value safety products at the lowest possible total cost.
Distributor Policy
Protective Industrial Products sells only through qualified Industrial Distributors.
Sales Support
PIP supports customers through a network of independent agencies that are completely familiar with industrial distribution in the areas they service. These sales professionals are well versed with the end-users as well and, upon request, act on your behalf in contacting the end-user. These professionals can conduct training for distributor personnel using training packages, conduct glove surveys at end user locations, assist in identification of competitive products and help create programs designed to put the profit in gloves for you.
PIP also employs a group of Territory Account Managers that are based in our New York, California and Tennessee facilities. Along with 5 Regional Sales Managers, these are some of the most experienced people in the industry and they are committed to providing the best customer service to you and your personnel.
Sourcing
PIP markets products from our own factory here in the US along with a network of manufacturers in China, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Japan, Taiwan and others. These sources build products to our specifications and ship them as we instruct. We don’t buy “off-the-SHElf bargains”.
Quality
PIP considers itself an off-shore manufacturer with US based Marketing and Distribution. We are not simply an importer. Our Hong Kong based manufacturing division manages our production at the facilities that we employ. Our products are designed to offer consistent quality at a fair market value. Our cartons are lot-coded by shipment to help manage the quality process.
