Gas Detectors & Gas Sensors
Single Channel Controllers
Gas sensor modules with a performance difference. Sierra Monitor gas sensor modules provide continuous trouble-free monitoring of hazardous gas conditions to protect your personnel and facility. Sierra Monitor integrates extensive gas sensor technology with electronics expertise to offer a broad line of diffusion gas sensor modules. The modules condition the sensor signal and provide an industry standard 4-20 mA output that can interface with single or multichannel controllers and distributed control systems. Sierra Monitor employs catalytic bead, electrochemical, semiconductor and infrared technologies to match the appropriate sensing technology with the application requirement.

Features provided on Sierra Monitor gas sensor modules include:
Reliability you can count on – Sensor design and electronic conditioning are carefully matched to maximize output signal integrity. All gas sensor modules are designed for hostile or hazardous environments and key sensors are FM approved.
Automatic low sensitivity check to ensure monitoring integrity – after calibration a sensor sensitivity check on many models confirms sufficient sensor response.
Convenient diagnostic measurements – the Sierra Monitor gas sensor modules provide the diagnostics necessary to ensure successful operation.
False alarm avoidance – during power-up and calibration on many models the output is logged at 4 mA to avoid erroneous readings.
Simple zero and span adjustments – featured on all Sierra Monitor gas sensor modules, using easily accessible potentiometers
