THE FUTURE OF HAND PROTECTION
On the horizon for 2011 and beyond, Showa Best Glove is committed to providing the very best in performance-driven hand protection products for every application. A few examples include the recently released AEGIS and S-TEX families of gloves.
Showa Best Glove brings the connotation of the “Aegis” — a protective shield worn in ancient times — into the 21st century with its hard-working AEGIS line of cut-resistant gloves. The AEGIS line contains high performance, lightweight cut-resistant products such as the AEGIS KVS4™, which combines a level 4 cut-resistant liner with a durable, sponge nitrile patented Zorb-IT® palm coating. The blend of KEVLAR®, stainless steel and polyester provides comfortable cut-resistance. This glove exhibits durable resistance to abrasions, snags and punctures. The AEGIS HP54 ™ glove represents the ideal combination of comfort, cut resistance and durability with even more cut protection. The combination of High Performance Polyethylene (HPPE), nylon, and Lycra with an oil resistant ZorbIT® palm coating offers the wearer ANSI Level 4 cut protection with max-comfort.
The S-TEX line is yet another recently unveiled Showa Best Glove product innovation. Styles within this line provide extra cut protection, featuring a patented Hagane Coil™ fiber technology, a trusted Kevlar® SHEll, and/or enhanced High-Vis colors – depending on the style selected. These products combine excellent cut-resistance with unmatched comfort and dexterity. A safety yellow seamless liner is engineered with a stainless steel core providing the wearer with extra protection against cuts and lacerations plus increased visibility. The rough textured natural rubber palm-coating allows for great wet/dry grip and enhanced durability.
