Position in Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE)
(Based in China)

Reporting to the HSSE Director (base in Singapore, an American ). This
role is the primary driver for health, safety, security and
environmental (HSSE) standards for all *** China SBUs and *** JV in
China. The role include promote the Company as a responsible corporate
citizen.

Key Responsibilities

*       To provide the most relevant information and strategies to the
organisation, ensuring that potential HSSE risks are identified,
addressed and efforts are in place to mitigated these risks in line
with *** expectations and all local relevant legislation.

*       To communicate HSSE vision & goals and diagnose HSSE performance
drivers; develop change management strategy and provide leadership &
coaching to all level in the organisational to influence the HSSE
climate that can result in better HSSE performance.

*       To work closely with all key stakeholders and be a primary change
agent without compromising HSSE standards.  Influencing skills are
vital as well as ability to work with all levels in the
organization.

*       Identify HSSE improvement opportunities and work with site teams to
find an effective solution. Be able to develop and provide training to
provide skills.

*       Manage and maintain an HSSE management system which includes
incident investigation and follow up prevention actions. This includes
be able to conduct detail audits and be able to develop action plans
that will address the root causes.

Requirements

*       A minimum of 10 years of practical HSSE experience in vessel safety,
ship yards, heavy or chemical manufacturing or oil and gas or
associated industries.

*       Proven track record in introducing and developing HSSE programs,
work processes and standards to drive HSSE improvements.

*       Familiar with industry HSSE best practices.

*       Experienced in conducting and facilitating audit, risk assessments
and able to identify effective HSSE improvement solutions.

*       Preferable working knowledge of HSSE legislation and safety related
standards in China.

*       Able to provide HSSE training and make presentations.

*       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

*       Have strong influencing and HSSE coaching skills for all levels of
staff.

*       Prior working experience in China and ability to speak Mandarin.
