EHS director

EHS Director (AP)

Job Responsibility 
Assists in the planning, development, and coordination of the safety and occupational health component of personnel, and environmental issues to achieve EHS effectiveness 
Link with EHS Department at corporate level and in coordination with the Sectors to Ensures environmental, health and safety compliance with corporate policies and existent procedures, and Delegation governmental laws and regulations. 

Contribute to Group EHS policy, targets and specific projects. Assists GM in the development, implementation and administration of Group EHS policies, tools and existing procedures through: 
- Organizing internal EHS audits, review and Due Diligence audit 
- Developing EHS procedures in line with SG Group rules 
- Plan Group Health standards within plants (NOS, CS, TAS, PLM) in coordination with Sectors 
- Creating and follow-up 5S training and implementation all over the Delegation 
- Follow-up SG Group reporting system Gaia for Delegation 
- Organization of EHS Day for Delegation in coherence with Asia Pacific and/or Group requirements. 

Plans, organizes, implements, measures and evaluates Delegation sites performance and programs which maximize safety/industrial hygiene and environmental objectives. Oversees compliance with legal requirements affecting these programs. 

Build up and maintain the EHS network in Delegation perimeter 
- Organization of EHS meeting, auditors trainings, other trainings, missions, and headquarters visit to Delegation, etc 

Promote EHS part of sustainable development through: 
- Legal and scientific watch 
- Cooperation with local environmental projects and private companies 
- Promote and help site in ISO 140001 certification 

Coordinate EHS in Asia Pacific through: 
- Communicate Group Policy, Objectives, Tools, Standards to all Asia Pacific regions 
- Organize Group EHS trainings 
- Promote EHS audits 
- Build up and maintain EHS network in all AP regions, make sure Group Policy will be received and understood at each level of hierarchy (Delegation and entity) 
- Organize International EHS Day 
- Insure Gaia for AP perimeter; give access and training to local Delegation local administrators 
- Select Diamond rewards each year for AP perimeter by sending related information, checking all documents, organizing the selection committee, sending the candidate information to headquarter DEHS 

Requirement 
Fluent in English, Mandarin 
University graduate in Safety mechanical, Chemical, Environmental engineering, Occupational Health or Hygienist background + post graduate in Social Education, Management, language, etc 
5 years EHS experience in industry and manufacturing environment in Asia.
