Main Responsibilities
· Lead the Asia Pacific (AP) region in EHS excellence execution and performance.
· Provide technical guidance, leadership, and oversight to Asia businesses and operating facilities related to EHS performance.
· Develop/ identify/ implement EHS best practices and risk-based management systems.
· Lead and manage on-going improvements in AP EHS capabilities and processes at both existing and new facilities.
· Responsible for retaining and developing regional EHS capabilities within AP to:
1. Environment;
2. Health and Safety;
3. Product Safety;
4. Process Safety; and
5. Project Management Support
· Meet performance expectations in the following key areas:
1. Permitting and operating authorizations;
2. Compliance demonstrations and implementation of best practices;
3. Emerging issues;
4. Global EHS systems development; and
5. Effective oversight and decision making processes
Main Requirements
· 15+ years experience in EHS compliance management and systems development in chemical manufacturing and/or petroleum refining industries.
· Bachelor in engineering or related science.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills.
· he/she should have good working knowledge of the following global processes/systems:
1. Compliance Assurance Management System
2. Compliance System Owner Work Process
3. EHS Emerging Issues Process
4. Closure and Corrective Action Process (including LYNX)
5. Annual Compliance Planning Process
6. Operations Excellence Work Process and associated roles
7. KII/INVISTA Operating risk profile and expectations
