职位描述
Position Summary:
The job holder will be responsible for planning and managing country-level processes and activities, to ensure and optimize EHS compliance and alignment across all SKF sites in China. He/She will work with a small team of specialists to maintain the highest standards, introduce best practices within our operations and processes, and build up the EHS Center of Expertise for SKF China.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support SKF China management team to advise appropriately on Health, Safety and Environmental issues
2. Prepare and propose new policies and procedures, to ensuring compliance with China legislation as well as SKF Group objectives and initiatives
3. Keep abreast of all current and emerging legislation, both in terms of health and safety and environment, and to advise and provide guidance on the introduction of new laws, acts or regulations that will affect the business.
4. Ensure all SKF sites in China maintain OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 certification and work against a defined program to bring uncertified business units to appropriate standards.
5. Manage internal audits and support local sites on external audits
6. Maintain the SKF EHS reporting system (Compass) in order that data & statistical information can be monitored
7. Monitor and where necessary investigate recordable accidents
8. Liaison with employer liability insurance companies, review claims and accident trends to ensure that management plans are directed at critical areas
9. Drive EHS competence development in SKF China
10. Review and manage the achievement of group EHS targets and cost savings
11. Due diligence activities for acquisitions and divestments
12. Maintain positive team spirit within SKF China EHS community
13. Represent SKF China in SKF Group EHS Community, and be an active member to support Group EHS development
14. Work with Group risk manager and FM Global to coordinate property loss prevention in SKF China
Key Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree in Safety, Environmental management, or related field or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum of 8 years previous experience within EHS;
3. Experience to Manufacturing, Engineering and facilities is preferred.
4. Certified safety engineer is a privilege
5. Previous experience with state & local regulatory agencies is a privilege
6. Must be prepared to frequent travel throughout China, and travel to abroad.
7. Passion to achieve world class EHS performance.
8. Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
9. Good communicator, both in Chinese and English.
10. Good interpersonal skills with high initiative.
11. Willing and able to effectively communicate with senior managers.
12. Be able to undertaking general employee awareness training and visual promotion of best practice
13. Be able to represent the company to present EHS practice externally
14. High awareness of Sustainability issues in general.
