Senior Safety Program Manager
Job description
-- Implement, manage and develop safety systems across the company in China, Taiwan and Hongkong (Greater China).
-- Develop, implement and administer safety programs and services in compliance with the company's standards and government regulations.
-- Management consultation and advice on occupational safety issues, counsel on administration of the company's policies, programs and practices related to the safety of employees & workplace.
-- Identifies emerging safety issues at work and takes the lead role in coordinating complex safety based projects at all locations.
-- Analyzing, evaluating, modifying and improving existing programs and procedures, development and implementation of new safety programs and tools.
-- Works on special projects and provides leadership in developing and implementing occupational safety strategies.
-- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requierd Skills：
1. Requires a recognized university degree in Safety, Engineering, Safety Risk Management or related specialty.
2. Licensed or certified as required by country laws.
3. Very knowledgeable in the field of workplace safety and industrial hygiene i.e. safety management system, industrial hygiene principles, Fire & Life Safety Standards and understanding of local & international codes (e.g. NFPA), ergonomics principles etc.
4. Possess experience in Risk Assessment, Root Cause Analysis and development of corrective action plans
5. Requires at least 5 years of occupational safety experience.
6. Good knowledge on local occupational safety regulations/standards.
7. Good written and oral communication skills.
8. Competent on safety System and Program Development, Management, Communication, Leadership, Negotiation, and Policy Interpretation.
9. High level work ethics and attitude.
10. Creativity and professional judgments applied to problems to develop review or modify complex system, programs and independently generate solutions.
11. Leadership to the safety team.
