MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bring EHS professionalism to the organization in health, safety and environment matters and drive organization towards EHS practices.
- Continuous development of site EHS management systems and maintain an accident-free work environment.
- Create high motivation and healthy atmosphere to ensure effective work practices and ways of working regarding to EHS management.
- Ensure site operation compliance with existing laws, regulations, licenses, permits and ordinances pertaining to environment, occupational health and safety.
- Adapt and implement Micron corporate EHS programs at Xi’an site.
- Set up EHS annual training plan and deliver training program within site.
- Perform regular site safety inspection, investigate and report non-conformance, track CAPAs for all EHS related findings/NCs and ensure they are closed as planned.
- Write technical reports based on the interpretation of EHS data, observations, and current regulations regarding inspection findings and recommend corrective action.
- Lead site ISO14001/OHSAS18001 certification efforts, and maintain continuous compliance to the EHSMS standards.
- Establish safety related programs within site to promote safety awareness of team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS Environmental Science, Safety Engineering or Chemistry
- Fully understands and has experience with Environmental and Health & Safety systems and regulations
- Experience on delivering and developing training programs
- 5+ years EHS work experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications
- Fluent in both oral and written English languages
